Whitecairn Holiday Park - Newton Stewart

Whitecairn Holiday Park is located on the edge of pretty Glenluce village, and is the ideal base to explore the ancient district of Galloway. It's not the only Hoseasons park in the area, and although it doesn't have the facilities of it's sister park one and a half miles away it does have trout fishing facilities.

So, if you like the area, and would like to spend time gazing over the glistening waters of Luce bay, but are opting for a peaceful park, then your in the right place. If you'd like to stay in the same area, but want a bit more in full on activities and entertainment, then take a look at Luce Bay Holiday Park.

Having said that, if you want the peace and quiet of Whitecairn, but would like to use the swimming pool at Luce By Holiday park, then you can do, and get the best of both worlds.

For those who do like a more tranquil and natural break, then Whitecairn is the perfect base for exploring the area by foot or bicycle, and returning 'home' for a relaxing evening. And if you fancy a tipple, then there head down to Glenluce Village in the evening.

The views from the park are great, but there's quite a bit to see in the area including the town of Wigton itself, the namesake of the area. If the only excitement you want from your holiday is reading a 'racy novel' whilst occasionally gazing along a pristine beach 'racy novel' head in to Wigtown, Scotland’s 'Book Town', a paradise for book lovers, boasting around 20 bookshops including the largest secondhand bookstore in Scotland.
